Help Use a post as a static page

You can easily use a post as a static page, such as an About or Contact page. A post used as a static page won't appear in the stream of posts on your blog.

1. Use a post as a static page

This step configures a post as a static page:

1. From your Proseful dashboard, go to Posts.

2. Find and click the post you want to use as a static page.

3. Click the menu button in the top-right corner of the page.

4. Click Settings.

5. Check the Use as static page box.

6. Click Save changes.

2. Link to the static page (optional)

This step adds a link for the static page to your blog's navigation:

1. From your Proseful dashboard, go to Blog settings.

2. Under Navigation, click Add link.

3. In the Label field, enter the label you'd like to use, such as About.

4. In the URL or path field, enter the path of the static page, such as /about.

5. Click Save changes.
